Four Roses Small Batch
About the Spirit
Four Roses Small Batch is a celebrated bourbon whiskey expertly crafted at the historic Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and bottled at their facility in Cox's Creek. With roots tracing back over a century, Four Roses has garnered a reputation for producing high-quality, carefully curated bourbons. Launched in 2006, Four Roses Small Batch stands out for its unique blending process. It’s crafted using four select bourbon recipes out of the distillery’s ten distinct combinations of mash bills and proprietary yeast strains. The blending results in a bourbon that is both balanced and complex. Each batch is prepared with approximately 250 barrels, aged for six to seven years, and bottled at 45% ABV, ensuring consistent quality in every pour. What sets Four Roses Small Batch apart is its meticulous attention to detail. The challenging and unique climate of Kentucky, coupled with careful aging in charred oak barrels, influences the whiskey’s maturation and character. The skilled artistry of Four Roses’ Master Distiller ensures an unwavering commitment to excellence, making this bourbon loved by both seasoned aficionados and newcomers alike.
