Whistlepig Whiskey Co.

1792 Quechee Main Street

Quechee, VT

In the picturesque farmlands of Shoreham, Vermont, WhistlePig Whiskey Co. is an independent distillery redefining the landscape of American rye whiskey. Established in 2007 by Raj Peter Bhakta, WhistlePig started with a vision to elevate rye whiskey to new heights. Collaborating with the legendary Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, they quickly became a standout in the world of craft spirits.

WhistlePig embraces a bold and innovative "Triple Terroir" distillation approach, where every element—from the rye grain to the pristine water and even the aging oak barrels—is sourced directly from their farm. This dedication to terroir results in whiskey offerings that are not only rich in flavor but also deeply connected to their place of origin.

Though originally sourcing Canadian rye, the brand has since transitioned to distilling exclusively on-site in their state-of-the-art distillery, which opened in 2015. The meticulous aging process incorporates both new oak barrels and used bourbon barrels, delivering nuanced, complex expressions.

Their portfolio boasts a range of award-winning, high-quality spirits, including the Small Batch Rye Aged 10 Years, the innovative FarmStock blends, and the ultra-premium Boss Hog series.
