Rotten Little Bastard Distillery, from Beaufort, South Carolina, is a craft distillery blending artistry, science, and sustainability. Founded in 2019 by Brian and Brigid Fackrell, the distillery’s name comes from a playful childhood nickname for Brian, adding a unique charm to its already vibrant personality. The distillery operates out of a former K-Mart auto service center, repurposing the large bay doors to welcome guests for tours, tastings, and even interactive bottling experiences. Proudly grain-to-glass, the Fackrells source local South Carolina grains, emphasizing sustainability by recycling leftover mash to feed local livestock. Rotten Little Bastard offers a diverse lineup of handcrafted spirits, including award-winning products like the Coosa Cut Bourbon, which boasts rich caramel and vanilla notes, and the Bravest Bull, a bold 120-proof ginger-infused whiskey. Their repertoire also features smooth King Tide Vodka, citrus-forward Spanish Moss Gin, and the distinctly Lowcountry-inspired Saint Helena 'Shine. A recipient of multiple accolades, including medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Bartender Spirit Awards, RLB is more than a distillery—it's a community hub.
