Located in the heart of Sonoma County, Redwood Empire Whiskey is a distillery rooted in innovation, sustainability, and exceptional craftsmanship. Founded in 2011 by Derek Benham, the company transformed a former apple canning facility in Graton, California, into a state-of-the-art distillation hub by 2014. After years of sourcing products from Ross & Squibb (MGP), Redwood Empire began distilling its own spirits in 2016, blending tradition with cutting-edge distillation techniques. Redwood Empire differentiates itself from other distillers through their commitment to sustainability. For every bottle sold, the company partners with Trees for the Future to plant a tree, contributing to an impressive total of over 1.28 million trees planted to date.
