The Distillery Story
Log Still Distillery is a celebrated bourbon destination nestled in the serene setting of Gethsemane, Kentucky. This distillery is a revitalized homage to the historic legacy of the Dant family, whose roots in bourbon-making date back to Joseph W. Dant’s inventive use of a hollowed-out log as a still in the 1830s. Though the team no longer uses “log stills,” the name reflects their commitment to blending tradition with modern innovation. The distillery is known for its high-quality spirits, including their flagship brands Monk’s Road and Rattle & Snap. Monk’s Road is inspired by the timeless traditions of the local community, producing spirits of remarkable purity and excellence. Meanwhile, Rattle & Snap embraces a bolder, more contemporary spirit profile, appealing to adventurous whiskey lovers. Log Still's 350-acre campus includes cutting-edge amenities like The Amp, a 2,300-seat outdoor music venue, scenic walking trails, a 12-acre fishing lake, and unique lodging options. The sense of community, faith, and family is palpable, creating an atmosphere where visitors feel like part of the story.
